This plugin automatically generates PDF invoices, sends them to your customers by email and lets download them directly from your store. WooCommerce PDF Invoice generates two types of invoices:
- Regular Invoices - issued when the order is marked as completed for the first time. Regular invoices are saved as files and never change (unless you delete them and regenerate).
- Proforma Invoices - if enabled, available for all new orders until they are marked as completed. Proforma invoices are generated on the fly (at the time they are requested), using the latest order details. Proforma invoices in essence are the same as confirmed purchase orders and are usually used as a basis for upfront payments.
This extension also attaches invoices to New Order (sent to admin), Processing Order and Completed Order (sent to customers) emails, and lets users download invoices from their accounts.
